Save he ys soft of fusion, and hys Sulphur nothing fixed.
Mars ys a white Body most of unclean Mercury made,
And he ys hardest of fusion with Sulphur Erthly cladd;
To blackness and rednes he will soonest consume,
By heate or corrosive when the Spirit beginneth to fume.
Venus ys a Body more red of pure Mercury made in hys substance,
Most of red Sulphur and greene and therein is great variance:
In the Erth ingendered with Corrosive and bitter substance,
Well fixed and hard of fusion, rude in governance.
